A site-specific sequence of five translucent skins transforms walking, viewing and distance into the material of landscape.
CONCEPT
Five translucent mesh skins are positioned at intervals along an existing path. Each skin contains one amorphous opening and is held between two slender metal poles of differing heights.
The openings do not present landscape as a single image. They isolate fragments of earth, sky, vegetation and horizon. As visitors move from one station to the next, these fragments form a sequence of changing viewpoints.
Landscape emerges as a relation between frame and void, body and distance, presence and absence. The path is not merely an access route; it is part of the work.
