FRAMING
Frames, openings and shifting viewpoints determine what becomes visible as landscape. The works do not reproduce a view; they make the conditions of seeing part of the work.

MAKE A LANDSCAPE?
Five translucent skins placed along an existing path produce a sequence of framed views. Landscape changes with the position and movement of the viewer.

Historical ethnographic images and the artist's own travel photographs become surfaces on which framing, authority and visibility are questioned.

Landscape is not given as a complete image. It is produced through selection, exclusion and the movement between one view and another.
